I figured, if I can sell a few great prints from the field, maybe I can make a few thousand dollars and stay where  want to be: in the field, taking pictures. I wanted a website that looked like a real gallery, or a book — not a slideshow or a catalog. I wanted to be able to have group exhibitions, so I could collaborate with colleagues. I wanted automated sales, so I could make money without staying at home. So, that’s what I created.
